The world needs bold thinkers, precise doers, and creative problem solvers. I am ready to take my place among them…
Precision drives me whether I’m balancing on my Rolla Bolla in the circus ring, hoisting my teammates over my head under stadium lights, or making unexpected acting choices so the words pull off the page as I study my lines. My life has been a series of performances, some in front of roaring crowds, others in quieter corners, but all requiring the same blend of creativity and control.
My background might not seem like the obvious training ground for someone pursuing a degree in Global Studies, but I would argue it has prepared me in ways few traditional paths could. While filming the role of a boy with ALL Leukemia, I worked with the head researcher at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. During one visit, she explained that the research facility was designed with large open spaces to foster community and creativity; you need both to solve complex problems. That idea has stuck with me ever since.
Whether through cultural diplomacy, producing a series that amplifies global perspectives, or advocating for policies that address systemic injustices, I know that the intersection of creativity and precision is where real impact happens. I believe that my existence in this intersection uniquely prepares me for law school, and my professional pursuits beyond. The best leaders aren’t just policymakers, they’re visionaries.
I’ve spent my entire life balancing structure and spontaneity, artistry and discipline; sometimes gracefully, sometimes not. I know how to improvise when things don’t go as planned, but I also know when precision and practice matter, when the landing has to be perfect or someone will get hurt. As I move forward, I plan to take that same mix of calculated risk and creative instinct, the same ethos that’s carried me through circus rings, film sets, stadium tunnels, and concert stages, into law school, writers’ rooms, public office, or global stages.
